2016 was marked by a cold and rainy spring – with an inevitable impact on the pace of growth and vegetative development of plants – which followed an extremely dry summer and marked daytime and nighttime thermal amplitudes. The harvest concentrated at the end of August, which can be considered as a perfect year for the Redoma, given the excellent quality of the grapes in the region, as well as its good characteristics of acidity and salubrity. Without any particular selection, the grapes, with 100% of the steel, were deposited in a stainless steel mill with automatic, in a process with a short maceration. After completing this phase of the process, the wine began its malolactic fermentation in old wood barrels, remaining in the internship for about 20 months. The bottling took place in June 2018.
